Professional Career & Mini Bio

Professor Enrico Bergamini is an enthusiastic and driven individual with a keen interest in technology, innovation, entrepreneurship, and sustainability. He holds a PhD in Management of Technology from École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL). His research, which focuses on exploring entrepreneurial endeavors to address grand societal challenges, has contributed to gaining a better understanding of organizational hybridity, social identity, and prosocial motivation.

Enrico joined BSL in 2022 as a Professor of Entrepreneurial Management and has been appointed Doctoral Supervisor in 2024. He also teaches Entrepreneurship at EPFL and leads the Grand Challenges Strategy Project at HEC Lausanne. In addition, Enrico works as a Startup Analyst at FONGIT, Switzerland’s leading innovation platform specialized in deep-tech and high-impact innovation, and provides advisory services for international Cleantech initiatives, such as the World Alliance for Efficient Solutions.
