Professional Career & Mini Bio

Deepti Pahwa is Stanford GSB alumni as well as currently working as an Executive Coach for Stanford GSB LEAD’s Innovation and leadership courses (mentored 200+ design & entrepreneurship & 100+ leadership projects). She has been working at the intersection of Innovation, brand strategy & human-centered design for 18+years with Big Innovation awards and Fast Company’s World Changing Ideas Nomination up her sleeve. Her experience spans multiple industries from as Chief Innovation Officer of Health tech start-up in Silicon Valley and working on pandemic technologies with MIT Media labs to leading Product Design & Brand Strategy in the past for Global Lifestyle Brands (Calvin Klein, Swatchgroup, Zalando, Swarovski).

Currently, she runs her consulting practice lending thought-partnership to visionary leaders in developing innovative new business models, improving experiences and outcomes, and driving design consistency and standardization across organizations. Working closely with C-suites, she champions the interdisciplinary, multi-faceted nature of design, and applies design thinking across sectors such as health, technology, the social sector, business strategy & culture.

She is also Founding Partner of LISA (Stanford GSB Lead Incubator & Startup accelerator), an initiative co-founded in 2020, that has grown to be an extensive engaging ecosystem of founders, mentors,  influential guest speakers and VCs that channels the expertise of Stanford LEAD community to help foster entrepreneurship ventures from within wider Stanford community (MBA, MSX, SEED program) and has now also drawn support from Stanford curriculum – Embark & Stanford SEED Program.

She has been a Guest speaker at IMD Business School (Privacy by design in digital transformation), serves as Mentor & Judge for MassChallenge Switzerland,  and currently working as a Guest Professor for Innovation in Supply chain at Business School of Lausanne.
