Ex-Googler, Professional Journalist, Marketing Consultant and Author, Associate Professor Lazar Džamić shares his wealth of experience and knowledge with MBA students at Business School Lausanne, teaching Digital Marketing & Social Media.

With more than 20 years of strategic marketing experience, Prof. Džamić is one of the leading brand and marketing strategists in Europe. He is the former Head of Brand Planning in Google’s creative think tank “Google ZOO” (NACE) and has worked hand in hand with famous brands such as PwC, Lexus, Nandos, Procter & Gamble, Virgin Holidays, Unilever, Glenfiddich, Waitrose, Gap, Diesel, British Gas, Tesco and John Lewis, to name but a few. His success comes as he has successfully guided each of them with his insatiable desire to transpose marketing strategy to best fit their marketing needs for the modern times.

Prof. Džamić currently resides in London, where he spends much of his time writing and teaching. He released his book “The Definitive Guide to Strategic Content Marketing” with co-author Justin Kirby in 2018. He was also a member of the Serbian Prime Minister’s Creative Council, advising on aspects of developing Serbia’s creative sectors. He is also a bestselling popular author in his native Serbia.

A family-man and father of 2, Prof. Džamić also finds time to spend with his loved ones as well as with his passion for drums. He is a frequent speaker in podcasts and webinars, focusing on marketing evolution in the digital age, new forms of brand storytelling and ethics of marketing and the digital space overall.
