Larisa Kryachkova

DBA

My life has always been full of colors. Born and raised in the Russian Urals until the age of 20, I moved to the US where I worked for Owens-Illinois, the world’s largest manufacturer of glass bottles. My life journey has led me to Switzerland where I currently pursue a Doctorate of Business Administration (DBA) in Sustainability. My research is focused on true cost accounting in conjunction with the triple-bottom line concept of profit, planet, and, most importantly, people.
I have come to the realization that I want to consolidate my work and life experience around the development of a thoughtful and well-developed vision for creating a sustainable future. My husband and children inspire my passion for sustainability and teach me how to be more patient with myself and others every day. Ultimately, my goal is to make a difference in everything I do. In my life pursuits, I am led by a conviction that the world is not black and white; it’s shades of grey and full of colors. Hence, Tie-Dye is my style.
