Career Support & Employability
BSL’s Career Support & Employability program doubles all MBA and EMBA curricula with a genuine and comprehensive set of services and courses. Self-branding courses, mentor advice, or support for job search will assist your professional growth for career advancement, career transition, or career switch.
The Mentoring Program aims to support your personal and professional growth through a structured mentoring program with the participation of experienced leaders and executives from around the world. The program includes one-on-one mentoring, e-learning opportunities, and networking events. It deepens your learning throughout the E/MBA experience and enables you to plan your next professional steps with the encouragement and perspective of senior executives. You can apply for the program as soon as you start your E/MBA experience.
Career Development Course
You will take the “Empower your Future” E/MBA course, which enables you to look at your strengths through the StrengthsFinder 2.0 talent assessment and envision a professional path aligned with your unique competencies, values, and aspirations. You will be encouraged to deepen your self-awareness, learn to communicate your brand effectively, and craft a meaningful, stimulating, and fulfilling professional future.
Career Services & Support
Throughout the E/MBA program, you will access our ongoing career services and support.
- Personalized Career Advice: We want to help you find more than a job. We will encourage you to craft a meaningful and fulfilling professional path based on your interests, passions, and strengths. Our dedicated career counselor will work with you throughout the program, providing one-on-one career advice, job search guidance, internship support, resume writing consultation, and recommendations for suitable opportunities.
- Jobs and Internships Online Platform: Since day one on campus, you will have access to our internal job and internship search platform, allowing you to browse Switzerland and abroad opportunities. The platform is updated regularly with opportunities that come through a broader community of alumni, partnering organizations, social enterprises, and other organizations.
- Guest Speakers and Company Visits: You will expand your network of contacts and meet industry experts through regular guest speaker visits in class. You will take part in organized visits of companies and NGOs in the region, which provide an excellent opportunity to gain insight into how different organizations work, what specific challenges each industry faces, and how different roles and functions work together.
- Global Alumni Network: You will become part of a worldwide network of students and alumni from over 60 nationalities. Many of our graduates have become entrepreneurs and successfully launched their own businesses. Others have chosen a corporate career in multinationals or a service-oriented path in the public sector. Regardless of which way you go, you will be encouraged to reach out to the network as you craft your future employment.
