Samer is an automotive professional with more than 15 years of experience. His competencies managing luxury automotive brands, enhancing operational excellence, leading high performance teams, managing outstanding customer experience, enabled him to head two automotive business units at the Alfardan Group of Companies one of the leading family owned businesses in the State of Qatar; Alfardan Premier Motors the sole distributor of Jaguar Land Rover & Alfardan Luxury Motors the sole distributor of Aston Martin Lagonda.

In his pursuit for continuous development, Samer holds a Bachelor of Science from Lebanese American University, MBA in Management from Maastricht School of Management, and Executive MBA in Management from HEC Paris, he is still willing to contribute to business theory and further develop his professional practice by pursuing his DBA.

Research Interest

The fast pace of change taking place globally and the challenges arising across all businesses, drive Samer to sharpen his competencies and intensify his practical skills to face and overcome these challenges. Samer’s research interest is about leadership & employee engagement in the automotive retail industry, being these elements major factors behind the prosperity of successful organizations.

Statement of Motivation for a DBA

I will contribute to the success of my organization by applying further effective and efficient work methods while optimizing my leadership knowledge and understanding employee engagement drivers in this increasingly important field. I will as well transform into a sound researcher, this will equip me with the needed tools shall I pursue a post-DBA academic goal while I’ll able to transfer to others my domain of expertise.
