Professional Career & Mini Bio
Michele Soavi is a multidisciplinary professional with extensive international experience at the intersection of technology, finance and sustainability. His career spans sustainability consulting, financial auditing, academic research, and the development of cutting-edge digital solutions—bridging innovation and impact across sectors.
He currently serves as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Sustainability Officer at ImpactScope, where he leads the design and implementation of technology-driven sustainability tools. Michele is also the Chair of the Sustainability Working Group at the Crypto Valley Association and a doctoral supervisor at BSL.
At ImpactScope, Michele has played a key role in leveraging AI and blockchain technologies to address global environmental challenges. His work includes both strategic implementation and research initiatives, such as the development of GWI, a greenwashing identifier used by regulators to assess the credibility of environmental claims.
Before moving into the tech-for-impact space, Michele built a strong foundation in financial and operational auditing, holding positions at Ernst & Young Luxembourg and PricewaterhouseCoopers Milan.
He holds a Master’s in Environmental Economics and Tourism, an MBA in Sustainable Business from BSL, and a PhD in Software Engineering. His doctoral research focused on NLP, LegalTech, and requirements engineering, with a particular emphasis on transforming legal contracts into smart contracts.
