Professional Career & Mini Bio

Associate Professor Dr. Alex Jalalian teaches Project Management at the Bachelor’s level at Business School Lausanne, and also at European Management School in Mainz (Germany). He has also taught Project Management at Grenoble Ecole de Management (GEM) in France. His academic qualifications include a BSc Honors in Computer Science with Mathematics from Westfield College, University of London, and Master’s education in International Management (Strategy) from London Business School, and writing thesis for the final stage of a Doctorate in Business Administration in GEM.

His professional career includes experiences in international business in the US, Canada, CH, EU, China, and the Middle-East, which includes Project and Program Management and Management Consulting in Telecom and Construction sectors. He served from 1998 to 2000, as Program Manager of Technology Strategy and a board member of Swisscom Corporate Technology (now called Innovations). He has also served as the President of Project Management Association of Canada for four years (2014 – 2017).
