Building Sustainable Legacies: Journal Issue 9, October 2016

Business School Lausanne and Greenleaf Publishing released the ninth edition of Building Sustainable Legacies, a quarterly Journal in Business Sustainability. The journal seeks to provide hands-on, pragmatic and user-friendly research, ideas and case studies as a resource for organizations committed  to implementing sustainability.

New to this edition, BSL’s Aileen Ionescu-Somers is taking over the editor role from outgoing editor Dr. Katrin Muff. The current issue covers three areas of practitioner research that relate to identifying and overcoming major impediments and deterring factors to the full integration of sustainability on the corporate “strategic radar screen”:

  • Understanding sustainability challenges: Triple bottom line and the business-to-business pricing challenge: An integrated approach (Larisa Kryachkova, Switzerland)
  • Specific dimensions of business sustainability: The lost purpose of business schools: The dramatic status of our planet today after 50 years of collective hallucination (Carlo Giardinetti, Switzerland)
  • Exciting new solutions to implement: Agents of change: How institutional investors are engaging to drive business sustainability (Lisa Oldridge, Canada)
