BSL’s Dr. Katrin Muff participated in a panel discussion on “What drives Switzerland and the world forward?” during the annual Swiss Green Economy Symposium which took place in Winterthur on November 14. In the panel discussion, Dr. Muff shared her thoughts on taking an “outside-in” approach where existing gaps in sustainability and the needs of the world become the source of inspiration and development of new business ideas. Additionally, Dr. Muff was able to present the BSL-University of St. Gallen “True Business Sustainability” model in an innovation workshop with entrepreneurs, organized by the Federal Office for the Environment Switzerland and UN Global Compact Switzerland.
The symposium gathered more than 830 participants from different domains including business, politics, research, and NGOs, and presented various products and concepts in the area of sustainability, including Green Building Schweiz, myblueplanet, Mobility, and others. The Swiss Green Economy Symposium is an annual event, organized by Lifefair.
