Paul Polman, CEO of Unilever, delivered a commencement address to BSL’s graduate class of 2014. Paul Polman has been Chief Executive Officer since 1st January 2009. Under his leadership Unilever has set out an ambitious vision to double its size while reducing its overall environmental footprint and increasing its positive social impact.
In his speech to the BSL graduates, Mr. Polman expressed his hope in the new generation of emerging leaders who have the skills, passion and vision to create a better world for everyone. “Making this a better world for all takes a high level of awareness, engagement, humanity and humility. (…) And above all – the courage to change what has been invisible for too many too long,” concluded Mr. Polman.
