Business School Lausanne (BSL) officially became a network partner of Swiss Sustainable Finance (SSF) at the Association’s inaugural general meeting held in Bern on September 22, 2014. At the meeting, SSF elected its board members and drafted actions plans to be implemented in the coming months. Education was chosen among the Association’s key priorities and more specifically – the collaboration with local universities and business schools to promote the integration of sustainable finance know-how in Switzerland’s educational offering. As a school which offers sustainability-oriented management programs and aims at educating globally responsible leaders, BSL was welcomed in the SSF’s network of partners together with other organizations such as WWF Switzerland, ETH Zürich, Centre for Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability at the University of Zürich, Geneva Finance Research Institute at the University of Geneva and others.
SSF brings together financial and non-financial service providers, investors, universities and business schools, public sector entities and other interested organizations, providing a platform to foster the integration of sustainability principles into all financial services. The Association was created to promote sustainability in the Swiss financial market, and strengthen Switzerland’s position as a leading worldwide center for sustainable finance.
