Ashley Munetsi – Vice President of the BSL Student Council

These are very exciting times for the Student Council! Coming off the back of a successful summer term, where we organized three events, the Student Council is looking to expand and improve.

We had good participation with our barbecues and it was great to see people from all the classes interacting and getting to know one another. Besides the social events we were able to organize a bake sale to raise money for the Sethule orphanage in Zimbabwe; the event was a great success with almost CHF 700 raised!

The goodwill and spirit engendered by these events was fantastic to witness and we want to continue to learn and to give students more chances to interact.

The goodwill and spirit engendered by these events was fantastic to witness and we want to continue to learn and to give students more chances to interact. So stay tuned to this space as there will be many exciting things happening!

We want the student council to become an important hub for enhancing the BSL experience and please let us know any way we can achieve that aim. Feel free to e-mail with any ideas, suggestions and/or concerns.
