The MBA program at Business School Lausanne was redeveloped in 2009 in collaboration with leading CEOs and HR Directors.

Program Overview
The BSL Executive MBA program brings together executives from throughout Switzerland and neighboring countries. All share the desire to improve their problem-solving capabilities in a rapidly changing business world. The program provides an atmosphere for high quality discussions among professionals who encounter similar business situations. The resulting effects are exciting, stimulating, and highly conducive to rapidly broadening business perspective.

Focus
Teaching the fundamental basics of business is a non-negotiable element of our Executive MBA program. First and foremost, Executive MBA participants will be able to walk away with a solid understanding of how to successfully run a business. Once this is acquired, we shift our focus on what makes the true difference in business: the ability to grasp the bigger picture, to remain calm under pressure, to communicate effectively, to bring out the best in team-members, to lead change, and to achieve results.

Structure
BSL’s Executive MBA program takes place mostly on Saturdays (excluding holidays), making it ideal for regional practicing professionals. The program runs for one year and then just once a month for 6 months, which are dedicated to the completion of the Real-Life Management report, as well as career counseling. Program content is split into Foundation and Integration Parts, where participants are required to complete the Foundation before starting the Integration. In addition, three elective management or applied leadership seminars of 3 days each may be taken at anytime during the 1.5 year program.

BSL’s Executive MBA program is completed in 1.5 years.

Accreditation
The graduate degree in business at BSL is fully accredited as a one-year master’s degree in the US and is equivalent to a one-year European postmaster’s degree.
