We select students for our programs very carefully. We make sure that in each class of twenty people we have a well-balanced cultural mix. The earlier you apply, the better your chances are to be admitted. We give preference to highly motivated, culturally open-minded, curious, entrepreneurial individuals with a sense of urgency and drive to make a difference in this world.

Business School Lausanne accepts applications from qualified candidates throughout the year.

Start Dates

Our full-time programs start in September and February.
It is possible to join the Modular EMBA program at any point of the year.
Management training seminars take place throughout the year.

When can I apply?
As soon as you have decided that BSL is the right business school for you, you should submit your application. Places in our program are limited and seats are attributed in order of applications received. We do our best to process applications up until the program start date, but are unable to guarantee a place for anyone applying less than 30 days before the start of a BSL program.

VISA Advisory
It takes between 45-60 days to receive a VISA for studying in Switzerland. If you require a VISA, and want to be sure to start at BSL for a specific term, you should send in your application at least 60 days prior to the program’s start date in February or September. If we receive your application less than 60 days prior to the program’s start, your ability to start will depend on whether or not your VISA arrives in time.

After Applying
Once we have received your complete application, our admissions officer will review your file and contact you to set up an interview either in person or by phone.

The interview is an integral part of the application evaluation and complements a strong application file that meets or exceeds our application requirements (BBA, Specialized Masters, MBA, EMBA, MBA in Sustainable Business, EMBA in Sustainable Business, Diploma in Sustainable Business and DBA).
